Twelve high-voltage main transformers for Saudi Arabia's national grid upgrade, running stably in high-temperature desert conditions and meeting peak summer demand.

Vision 2030 is driving large-scale infrastructure development and electricity demand in Riyadh keeps rising. The project required transformers capable of sustained full-load operation above 50°C while withstanding desert sand. We optimised the cooling system and sealing structure and specified high-quality grain-oriented silicon steel with heat-resistant insulation. Delivery took seven months from contract signing — well inside the 12–18 months typical of international brands.

35 kV Box-Type Step-Up Substations

Twenty box-type step-up substations for a 50 MW solar farm, stepping PV output up for grid connection and supporting the local clean-energy transition.

The plant generates roughly 80 GWh a year. Sitting on a plateau with wide day-night temperature swings and intense UV, it demanded exceptional weather resistance. Our compact box-type substations integrate the step-up transformer, HV switchgear and intelligent monitoring in one pre-assembled unit, which cut site installation time sharply. IP54 protection keeps out dust and moisture; since commissioning, generation efficiency has exceeded design expectations.

A complete distribution package for a 200-hectare manufacturing park with more than 80 tenant companies in electronics, textiles and light industry.

We supplied 35 box-type substations and distribution transformers arranged in a ring-main configuration, so maintenance on one unit never interrupts other users. Every product is certified by the local power authority and rated for tropical climate service. Our engineers stayed on site for three months to complete installation, commissioning and operator training. The system has run without incident since handover.

10 kV Dry-Type Transformers & Intelligent Switchgear

High-reliability dry-type transformers and distribution equipment for a leading Middle East AI computing hub with rack densities above 20 kW.

Continuity and power quality requirements were the highest of any project we have handled. We supplied 48 epoxy-resin cast dry-type transformers with Class F insulation and Class H temperature rise — flame-retardant and self-extinguishing, which is what indoor data-centre use demands. Each unit carries intelligent temperature control and an RS485 interface for BMS monitoring. No-load and load losses both beat EU MEPS levels, helping the facility's PUE. The equipment has run fault-free and the client has placed repeat orders.

Four large main transformers for a 120 MW hydropower station, easing power shortages in the capital and surrounding regions.

The site sits in tropical rainforest with high heat, high humidity and severely limited road access. We designed the transformers for split shipment and on-site assembly to solve the heavy-cargo transport problem, and specified reinforced insulation with vacuum oil filling for dielectric performance in high humidity. Senior engineers went to site to guide installation and commissioning and to train local technicians for long-term operation.

11 kV Intelligent Box-Type Substations

Sixty intelligent box-type substations for the capital's distribution network upgrade, improving reliability and remote management.

Muscat's existing equipment had been in service over 25 years with high failure rates. We won the tender on product performance and price. Each substation carries an RTU and fault indicators for remote monitoring and automatic fault location and isolation, cutting average outage repair time from four hours to under thirty minutes. Enclosure colours were coordinated with the city's streetscape and the units run quietly enough for residential areas. All three delivery batches arrived on schedule.
