A storage transformer carries power in both directions and reverses quickly and often. Thermal design, harmonic tolerance and mechanical strength all have to be set for that duty, not for a conventional distribution profile.

Sourced from certified partner manufacturers and inspected against our own standard before dispatch. Routine tests — winding resistance, voltage ratio, no-load and load loss, dielectric strength and, on oil-filled units, leakage — are run on every transformer before release.
Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or another agency can be arranged on request, with the report issued before shipment. Designed and manufactured in compliance with IEC 60076, ANSI/IEEE and the destination market's requirements; CE documentation available. Warranty is 24 months from the date of shipment.
