Furnace duty is the hardest a transformer sees. The secondary carries very high current at low voltage, electrode short circuits happen constantly as part of normal operation, and the load swings violently.
Wide voltage regulation is provided so the operator can match power input to the melting stage.

Sourced from certified partner manufacturers and inspected against our own standard before dispatch. Routine tests — winding resistance, voltage ratio, no-load and load loss, dielectric strength and, on oil-filled units, leakage — are run on every transformer before release.
Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or another agency can be arranged on request, with the report issued before shipment. Designed and manufactured in compliance with IEC 60076, ANSI/IEEE and the destination market's requirements; CE documentation available. Warranty is 24 months from the date of shipment.
