Underground mining is the one environment where a transformer fault cannot be allowed to become an ignition source. The enclosure is built to contain an internal explosion and prevent it propagating to the surrounding atmosphere.
Mechanical construction is reinforced for relocation as the working face advances.

Sourced from certified partner manufacturers and inspected against our own standard before dispatch. Routine tests — winding resistance, voltage ratio, no-load and load loss, dielectric strength and, on oil-filled units, leakage — are run on every transformer before release.
Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or another agency can be arranged on request, with the report issued before shipment. Designed and manufactured in compliance with IEC 60076, ANSI/IEEE and the destination market's requirements; CE documentation available. Warranty is 24 months from the date of shipment.
